Arrival in Bhutan & Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive in Paro (by air) or Phuntsholing (by land from India)
Scenic drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours)
Stop at Tashog Lhakhang, a traditional iron-chain bridge
Visit Tashicho Dzong, Bhutan’s grand fortress and seat of the king
Free time to explore Thimphu’s sights if time permits

Punakha / Wangdue – Paro
Start the day with a hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, passing through rice fields and up to the temple for stunning valley views.
Walk back to the river and optional rafting: choose the easier “female river” or the more adventurous “male river” with white-water rapids.
Visit the Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful castles.
Take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of the “Divine Madman”, known for its unique teachings.
Drive back to Paro over the scenic Dochu-la Pass.

Day 5
Punakha / Wangdue – Paro
Start the day with a hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, passing through rice fields and up to the temple for stunning valley views.
Walk back to the river and optional rafting: choose the easier “female river” or the more adventurous “male river” with white-water rapids.
Visit the Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful castles.
Take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of the “Divine Madman”, known for its unique teachings.
Drive back to Paro over the scenic Dochu-la Pass.

Tiger’s Nest Hike
Visit the Drukyel Dzong ruins, with views of the sacred Jomolhari mountain.
Hike up to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), the highlight of the tour!
Climb higher for an amazing bird’s-eye view at Zangto Pelri Lhakhang.
Continue the adventure to Ugyen Tshemo temple and Yoeseling monastery (3,320m).
Descend through the dense forest, stopping at Shama Lhakhang, perched on a cliff.
After this 6-hour hike, relax and enjoy the evening.

Tiger’s Nest Hike
Visit the Drukyel Dzong ruins, with views of the sacred Jomolhari mountain.
Hike up to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), the highlight of the tour!
